Happening at the University of Jordan:
“female students are not allowed to ask questions during class”

At the University of Jordan, a fanatic-religious group has imposed it’s own rules. It has been stated that they took over the Sharia’a college where they prevent any female student from using the stairs which reach to classrooms!! They claim that the reason is that they have allocated different staircases according to the gender of the student. So if your a girl you are NOT ALLOWED to use the stairs allocated to the male-students and vice-versa.

Also in that same department; some TEACHERS prevent female students from sitting alongside the male students, instead, they ask the females to sit at an allocated set of chairs “that are marked for them”. It has also been reported, that some teachers DO NOT ALLOW any female-student from participating in the class or asking any question, because to them”a woman’s voice is Haram!”. When confronted with this issue, one of the teachers claimed that he won’t need to listen to a female-students asking a question because he has the “ability” to conclude what is going on her mind, and answer it without her asking questions!!!!!

تيار متشدد في الجامعة الاردنية، تحديدا في كلية الشريعة، فرض سلوكا غير طبيعي وغير مفهوم، بتخصيص سلم (درج) داخل الكلية للطلاب، وآخر للطالبات، اذ يقوم طلاب بزجر أية طالبة تأتي لزيارة الكلية من الكليات الاخرى، إن هي اخطأت واستخدمت سلم الطلاب، وعدم استخدامها سلم الطالبات، في وقت هي لا تعلم عن هذا القرار
في الكلية أيضًا؛ مدرسون يمنعون الطلاب من الجلوس الى جانب الطالبات، ويخصصون جناحا للطلاب وآخر للطالبات، مع أن التعليم في الاردن مختلط، ولا أحد قرر أن يكون هناك منع للاختلاط
وفيها أيضًا، مدرسون يمنعون الطالبات من توجيه الأسئلة، على اعتبار أن “صوت المرأة عورة”، فقد وصل الحال بأحدهم إلى القول امام الطلبة إنه سيستنتج ما يدور في عقول الطالبات، ويجيب عليه من دون طرح اسئلة، مع ان بدايات الربيع العربي التي أزهرت في شوارع تونس، وجِنان مصر، اثبتت ان “صوت المرأة ثورة” لا عورة
